Next time you make burger patties for the grill, load ’em up with herbs and garlic for an ultra-flavorful meal. These are super simple to make!
- 1 pound local ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup oatmeal
- Small onion or shallot, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh rosemary, sage, and summer savory or oregano, finely chopped
- Cheddar cheese slices (optional)
Mix all ingredients, form patties, and grill for about 5 minutes on each side over hot coals. Put cheese on last minute if desired.
